I like to read about the WW2 historical era, so I'm interested in your book one and maybe later the second one. My first is also based on when and why I left the States and immigrated to Canada. The book looks interesting! But you are not the author so how does this book swap work? It is a very expensive ebook and only available on Kindle. Perhaps the author might want to publish it in paperback through KDP - Kindle Direct Publishing. It isn't costly.

I wanted to write about what it was like growing up during the Vietnam War while classmates were being drafted to go overseas and kill people for no other reasons besides political. And also I was keen to explore the hippie era and the pull it had on young Americans then. First love, drugs, long hair with your thumb out to catch the next ride somewhere!

I'm so excited! After six drafts and multi-beta readers, I'm seeking an agent or publisher for my first book in a women's fiction series, (based on true events), and titled,
GIRL GOES NORTH.
It opens like a coming of age romance but POW, then Kate goes into a turbulent path of raw and real adventures while a metaphysical Spirit puts messages into her head!

Writing is like creating a beautiful picture. The first draft is just painting in the background colors. The subsequent drafts are adding the details. The final edits are the exquisite highlights; a vibrant verb, or the perfect adjective, and only then does the whole picture capture the mind of your readers and stays awhile. To really "move" the reader with your message is every author's motive. It's wonderful!

Oh dear, I hate to say this. But it is not unreasonable to go through five or six drafts of your manuscript. Refine it like you'd polish silver!
