The freedom to write what I want, to be honest. I love losing myself in worlds of my own creation. I love when the words flow and I love it when I have writers block. Probably a strange thing to say, but when that block goes it feels amazing to find the words again.
I just love being an author, I think freedom is the best thing. It's my world and then it opens up to so many readers to explore too and to see how they imagine what I've written and to discuss it with them is brilliant.

I'm not sure really. My latest book is called Albert's Christmas and it just kind of developed. There was no specific reason behind it. Bit of a boring answer, but it's true. I just started writing and it evolved into its own thing :)

Anything really. It can be from a photograph to a word or phrase in a book. Sometimes I'll ask my partner to think up a random theme and sometimes that has set me on my way to a big idea.

I am chipping away at my first novel, but I may release some short story tie-in's before I finish it. I want to make sure the story is right before I unleash a novel on the world.

I have a writer block book that I can open at a random page. These pages have a word, phrase or idea to get my creative juices flowing. I am also a member of a writing forum and I speak to fellows writers there who help with a bit of encouragement.
