My last book, Grace Doll is a perfect example of 'looking around you' for inspiration. Grace Doll was an accumulation of life experiences I had in my personal life and when I worked in Hollywood in the entertainment business. I met some fascinating people from hair and makeup to directors to stars. And the idea developed from there and blossomed over the years. I love that story - it's very personal to me down to my aunt's name: Grace Doll.

It depends on what's causing it. When I was writing full time I wrote through it even if what came out was crap. You can always revise words. Reading always helps. And having your work critiqued is one of the best things that you can do - it helps you "see" where you're missing things.

Luke and Roxy from Honest Illusions. Spectacular, sizzling, fun.

Thank you for reading, Shameeka. I'm pleased A Season of Eden was enjoyable to you. I love that story for so many reasons - and on a personal level. The ending is constructed to enable the reader to believe that James and Eden either reunited or did not based on the readers' experience interpreting the story. Knowing James, I'm sure he was not surprised to find Eden there - perhaps relieved even. I wouldn't want to write a sequel only because I love the open ending the way it stands. Again, thank you for exploring my books!

Hi Tabitha. So glad you enjoyed Eden. The 'open ending' is really about how the read interpreted James and Eden's relationship ending. I feel like a concrete ending would disappoint those who did NOT see them ending up together while satisfying those who did see them ending up together. Most likely, there won't be another book. Thanks for your question! ( And your compliments :)
