Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Mark L. Braunstein Health informatics is critical to the transformation of the health care delivery system into one that delivers high quality, safe and affordable care to patients whenever and wherever they need it. After a long relatively static period the field is now exploding with promise in part because of its move toward modern web technologies for data sharing. The book was designed to tell this story hopefully in a way that works for the broadest possible group of readers.
