Al-Saadiq Banks The best part about being a writer is the fact that I'm always working. Every second of the day ideas are popping into my head. Every event, every person I meet is a potential character.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Al-Saadiq Banks Listening to Jay-Z and Beyonce's 'On the Run' and the whole idea for the book played out in my mind.
