Mark C. Overton Primarily, I developed the idea of my most recent book, "You Only Live Once," because I sought a complimentary topic to add to the Good Book Series.

The Good Book Series, currently a four devotional set (Live, Laugh, Work and Pray), is rooted in the idea people are happier in a "Live, Work, and Play" mainstreet community that provides high levels of well-being.

It's amazing you can live in an active, attached community with God as your neighbor and connected social ties. And you're welcomed to connect with this "Live, Laugh, Work, and Pray" community at www.drawnearer.com. Draw near to God and draw God near to you! Connect in a purposeful relationship with God and reap his blessings!
Mark C. Overton I always loved to write and after transitioning from the US Air Force, I wrote the Career Progression Guide for Airmen series to pay forward my experiences.

By faith, I turned to the Christian Life Devotional category and penned The Good Book Series: "You Only Live Once" (Live), "I Like to Start with Something Funny" (Laugh), "Chapter and Verse: Daily Devotions for Your Work Week" (Work), and "Lord Teach Me How to Pray" (Pray).

Keep an eye out for the final Good Book Series devotion, “Love,” which is planned for publication in 2019.
Mark C. Overton "You Only Live Once," the fourth book in the Good Book Series was recently published in February. I'm currently outlining a roadmap for the final book (Love) in the Good Book Series. I'm also working on a "Parent's Guide" I plan to co-author with Rodney Perry. We previously co-authored "Lord, Teach Me How to Pray."
Mark C. Overton After first congratulating for sharing their passion and experiences, my advice for aspiring writers is to also have a complimentary, effective marketing plan to sell their books if that's the path they choose.
Mark C. Overton It's my hope by sharing my experiences, someone else's life is touched or a magic dream followed. I appreciate an opportunity to better connect with active participants and help spread the Word and share my experiences with new and growing Christians.
Mark C. Overton I deal with writer's block by establishing an outline or mindmapping upfront. It helps to provide a roadmap for the way ahead.
