Andreas Hartinger It´s about a boy, who, against all odds, went out and built his world. It is a timeless story, for old and young, a story that hides treasures that have changed my life.

Who inspired you to write?

Andreas Hartinger My beloved grandfather. I wrote down his World War II memories published under "Until the Eyes Shut" and that`s how it all started.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Andreas Hartinger The idea sprung from the following question: What would I want my kids to read when they are older? I thought about that for many years and can happily announce that my new book will be published before Christmas 2020.
