Charlene Mattson Hmmm.... toughie because I don't read a lot of 'couple' books XD.

Stand-outs though for me (growing up) was Vanyel and Stefan (Mercedes Lackey) because that was my first real exposure to a gay couple (deliberate partially I'm sure on the part of my mom, ha ha).

I'm currently reading Newbury and Hobbes and while Sir Maurice Newbury and Veronica Hobbes aren't a couple (yet), they have an awesome partnership that is really amazing to see, especially how they hold each other up and lean on each other while still being very independent. This really speaks to me.

OH and Sunstone graphic novels have just fantastic couples all the way around. Allison and Lisa of course, but also Alan and anyone he gets with ha ha.

I don't have single favorites is what we can take away from this XD
Charlene Mattson My writer's block is almost always caused by a situation which hasn't been resolved or a plot hole that I hadn't noticed yet. I usually go to my notes and write through-in note form-what my plot should look like and pick out where I went wrong. A hot shower and coffee helps quite a bit too. If all else fails, exercise and a good night's sleep.
Charlene Mattson Playing God, ha! The creative process is very empowering. I also love it when people 'fanfic' my work; it's sometimes very inspirational to me and often very funny.
Charlene Mattson Get thinking, get dreaming, get writing, get involved! Listen to others for ideas, read lots of books, write what you know and try to make the time whenever you can. And take those risks-the worse that will happen is someone will say no and nothing can take away your writing anyway!
Charlene Mattson Sadly very little. I'm waiting on a manuscript to get edited, but I haven't had the time to work on it anyway. I'm hopeful that I can get a few weeks at the end of August-into the fall, but we'll see. If nothing else, there is always NaNoWriMo, lol
Charlene Mattson I used to say that I could be inspired by anything-and it's still true!-but now that I'm teaching full time, I've realized that I need a lot of peace and quiet which I've been lacking in the last six months. Sigh.

Inspiration though can come from all over the place, so it's good to keep an open mind.
Charlene Mattson The Curious Case of Prince Charming came about in a panic two days before NaNoWriMo (lol). I was watching my son play with his Mario and Bowser plushies and he was making Bowser win (favorite character) in terms of grabbing up Peach. Something just stuck with me, twisted itself and viola!
