Gregg Chamberlain Well, this is typical of my luck, lost in the woods, waiting for the full moon to rise so I can find a path. Something growls in the darkness.
Gregg Chamberlain Have not got a book. But one story idea came to me while I washing the dishes one morning.
Gregg Chamberlain Not totally sure. I know I get story ideas, dialogue, scenes, and such at some of the oddest moments... several of my stories come to me while I am asleep and dreaming, then the trick is to remember and write things down fast enough when I wake up.
Gregg Chamberlain Hmmm... working on first draft of what may be a series of stories about a character who works as professional acquisitor (ever wonder how wizards, etc. get those materials for their spells, grimoires, magical artifacts?)

also working on a flashfiction piece on imaginary creatures to send to Third Flatiron anthology for a special issue call.

and working on one of my oddball stories based on the Universal monster movies series.

Gregg Chamberlain The fun of telling stories. That is why I write. This is fun for me, it makes me happy.
Gregg Chamberlain I have several stories on the go at the same time, so writer's block not really a problem. I just move over and work on something else. Or else I set things aside altogether and go do more mundane things, and just let the brain sift and sort through things. Never found that trying to force myself to write ever worked. Just created either frustration at nothing coming out of my head or else typing out garbage.
Gregg Chamberlain Trying to figure out why it took so long before I finally settled down and started writing my own fiction.
