To deal with writer's block, I simple get my mind deeper into my story and explore possible ways that the story line might go and then just start writing. Many times I will start writing only to delete and rewrite the section a different way as new inspiration arrives.

I like letting my imagination go to create a good story that people enjoy reading. There is great satisfaction in a completed work that people read and then respond by saying "That was great book!" or "I had fun reading your book!" or "I really enjoyed your story!"

I write about what inspires me and try to create stories that I enjoy. Hopefully there are many readers out there that will enjoy them as well. The hardest thing after writing a book is to get people to read it. That is why I have created this author page on Goodreads. I want to introduce potential readers to myself and my books. My best advice to aspiring writers is to keep writing and promoting what you write. Don't be sensitive to criticism. Instead listen to your readers and editors and always strive to be a better writer. I think with each book that I have written I have been able to improve my writing and any author should always strive to be better.

I have developed a plot for my third book in the "Niall and the Irish Pirates" series and am doing research before I set down to write the story. I hope to have the next book out by the end of 2014 or early in 2015.

When I write I do what most authors do and put myself deeply into the story. I imagine what each character is like and what they would do in different situations. Then I write them into the plot story line.

I had my DNA tested and found that I was a direct descendant of "Niall" a high king of Ireland that ruled from 355 to about 400 CE. I started reading about the myths and legends surrounding Niall. I thought that the legends surrounding Niall could be put together in an interesting story so I wrote "Niall and the Irish Pirates". I followed that with a sequel that focuses on his sons and their exploits along with the beginnings of Christianity. I have the plot for a third in the series that I will start writing soon.
