The day my friend Chasity and I saw--or at least we think we saw--a ufo. We were on our way to her house when we saw something unexplainable in the sky. It was low, in the shape of a triangle, and had a bright white light on each corner. It wasn't moving, it was just hovering there. Then all of a sudden it broke off into three separate pieces and flew off in super speed in three different directions. It scared the crap out of us and we took off running as fast as we could until we reached her house. To this day, neither one of us can explain what we saw.

Hmm, that's a really good question. I have two actually. The first would be Clary and Jace from The Mortal Instruments. The Mortal Instruments is one of my all time favorite series and I love the dynamic between the two main characters. They're both vulnerable and strong, and even though they had some pretty big obstacles to overcome, they still knew on some fundamental level, that they were meant to be. The second would be Patch and Nora from the Hush, Hush series. I love Hush, Hush just as much as The Mortal Instruments. I've probably read this entire series at least 4 times, if not more. I love the struggle of their relationship. From how hard Patch tries to deny what he feels so he can achieve the one thing he's after, to when he finally gives in and falls so hard he's willing to sacrifice everything if it means she stays safe.

Writer's block can be tough. What I do to get through it is to keep writing anyway, even if what I write is horrible because I can always go back and fix it later. Sometimes listening to music or reading a book I enjoy will help me to get past writer's block also because I'll find things that interest me and that will help spark the creative juices to start flowing again.

The best thing about being a writer is just being able to write. I love being able to create my own world and characters where everything imaginable is possible.

My advice for aspiring writers is to never give up. If writing something you love then keep at it no matter how difficult it may sometimes be because it's worth it in the end.

The idea for my most recent book came from many different factors such as my dreams, things that have inspired me from different books I've read such as Cassandra Clare's Mortal Instruments series, or Tahereh Mafi's Shatter Me series, or tv shows I enjoy like Supernatural. Sometimes even just a simple phrase I hear is enough to inspire me.

I am get inspired by many things. It might be something I see while out with my family, or a scene in a movie, or even the lyrics of a song.
