What books are on your summer reading list this year?

Sherrie Wouters Thanks for asking me a question! My Summer reading list which is actually my Winter reading as we are coming into Winter in the Southern Hemisphere here in Australia is- The Light between Oceans By ML Stedman, Zen and The Art of Motorcycle Maintenance by Robert M Persig, and Time and Time Again by Ben Elton.
Bit of a mixed bunch to keep things interesting!

How do you get inspired to write?

Sherrie Wouters I find music a great inspiration. It really gets me in the mood for writing.

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Sherrie Wouters meditate, go for a walk. A technique I have used since I was a teenager where just before I go to sleep I ask a question in my mind that I need help with, and imagine it being sent out into the universe, and ask for the answer to be in my mind when I wake. Sometimes that answer gets delivered in the middle of the night and wakes me up. I always have a notepad and pen next to my bed for when the inspirational thoughts start to flow in at 3am in the morning!! This technique works 90% of the time. Brilliant!!!
