Just write. Whether it's a poem, a short story, or a single sentence. If there is something bouncing around in your brain, write it down! Also, read. Never say that you don't have time to read because of your writing. No writer worth their salt, stops reading when they start writing.

Ah, how to answer this... Well, there's a lot of amazing things about being a writer. However, I think my favorite thing about it is bringing a story to life. It can start with just a little seed or fluffy little innocent-looking plot bunny and suddenly it just blossoms or grows and you find yourself with a full-blown story on your hands.

In all frank honesty, I usually talk to my mother about it. Half the time, she's mostly only partially awake and I'm basically just talking to myself, but it helps. When I've tried to just talk to myself (an admission to my slight insanity) I get absolutely nothing!
Every once in a while, my mom gets a little embarrassed by the conversation, partly because she's a lesbian and I mainly write gay male romance and partly because what I write is proof that her little girl is not very sheltered or innocent. XD
