Persia Walker I don't. I view it as something that needs to be done. I give myself permission to write poorly -- and to begin stories that I might not finish.
Persia Walker Hi, Harish! That's a very good question. I think that to a degree all writers inject various sides of their respective personalities, viewpoints, worries, hopes, etc. into their characters. It happens automatically. So, I've already played some form of the "lead" character in each of my books. Each reflects some pain or joy I've experienced personally or witnessed in others. I don't know if that's the answer you're looking for, but it's the best one I have.
Persia Walker I have several ideas, including two for Lanie Price, and a couple of stories of a contemporary nature. Right now, I'm going back and forth between the manuscripts, so it's hard to say which one will catch fire and take control of my imagination. I'll be as surprised as my readers!
