I honestly couldn't say. I just sort of got these different bits and pieces of thoughts for a story and eventually it turned into The Doubled Gate.

Well, as a small child I loved it when my mom would write me little stories to read while she was at work, and my sister was an English major so the desire kind of appeared out of that. I started writing when I was ten doing little short stories and here I am now.

Currently I'm working on book 2 in The Doubled Gate series, Blood Is Thicker, and also fleshing out two short stories.

Don't get too cocky. It's tempting to think "hey, I'll get this published as soon as I'm done and then it'll be a best seller!" but trust me...try to avoid that mind set
