Elizabeth Barrett and Fitzwilliam Darcy. Basically because they are equals despite the inequality of their gender specific training and society. If Elizabeth can stand up to Lady Catherine and give as good as she gets, Darcy is not going to run rough shod over her. And he actually apologizes to her for boorish behaviour and assumptions.

This past few years its been the serialization. I've promised to write five days a week and I try to keep that promise, even if I don't particularly like what I've written. It's a matter of doing it.
