Since I'm currently editing book #2 of the Spirit Trilogy, I'll go with that as my most recent book. The idea for the whole trilogy actually came from two weeping willow trees.

The absolute BEST thing? Finding out from a reader that my book inspired them.

I'm not really sure how to answer this. Usually, the characters in my head won't shut up and demand to be written. When that happens, they are the inspiration. But when it doesn't happen, I have to write anyway and hope they make an appearance!

A walk, a drive, a shower. Even just forcing yourself to write something helps. A lot of times, if I'm not trying to think about it, something really awesome will just hit me.

Write. And write more! Keep writing, you'll get better all the time. Persistence and perseverance are key. It sounds cliché, I know, but never give up. That's really the best advice for any dream.

I'm currently working on editing The Body (Spirit Trilogy #2) for a fall release! A Love Always, Kate novella is also in the works!
