Keep working at your craft and do not be afraid of criticism and rejection. You are never going to please everyone with your work, so just stay true to idea and don't compromise the story to appease people, because that is not certain, but if you stay true to the story you will always feel good within yourself about the work.

The novel that I am currently working on deals with a serial killer who targets fans of a young pop star, because the killer feels that the star ruined her chance to be famous. The title is Starlight and is set for a December release.
