How do you get inspired to write?
James Redfearn I look for the story behind the story at first. Once writing, the inspiration comes from discipline at first and then, as the story develops, I am totally immersed.

What are you currently working on?
James Redfearn Currently, I'm in between books. An Appointed Time recently launched and I have been busy promoting it. But I'm receiving plenty of ideas from readers. So if you have one, feel free to pass it along.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
James Redfearn For me, it is entering the dream state where I can see and hear my characters, feel their apprehensions, know their fears and celebrate their victories.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
James Redfearn Historically, the manhunt is one of the largest in Massachusetts. The research was fun.
