Jim Goforth Everything! But, more specifically, writing itself. I love to write, always have done and well, if other people dig reading the things I write, that makes it even better. Holding your own books in your hands and seeing your words in print is pretty damn cool too.
Jim Goforth I am currently working on my second story for the Rejected For Content anthology series from my publisher JEA. This anthology is, as the name might suggest, a place for the types of stories rejected elsewhere on grounds of content perhaps deemed too offensive, violent, gory etc for some publishers to want to touch. It is a fun project a bunch of us came up with and being open to grindhouse, splatterpunk, ultra violent, brain damaging, frightening stuff, it is therefore right up my alley. Other than that I am also working on a whole bunch of different stories for other emerging anthologies, and I have just completed writing another novel which I have yet to go back and look at.
Jim Goforth I haven't ever actually had to deal with writers block, it isn't something I suffer from. Once I start writing on any particular project, the words almost always start to flow. It isn't really a case of lacking words, but more often, a matter of trying to keep my word counts from reaching enormous proportions.
On the off chance I do run into any sort of wall on something I'm working on, I shift focus to another project. I'm generally always working on multiple ideas at any given time, so switching back and forth between them is no problem. I usually come back to whichever one might have been the original problem child, rejuvenated and ready to complete it.
