Then I plumb for answers and, this is the glory of fiction, make up truthful stuff.
Mel Ryane I can do it when I want. For a long time I was an actor and that's near impossible to do alone.
Mel Ryane Well, this might sound ridiculous but, so far, I haven't had it. When I sit to write, I think of myself as going to work. I don't think bus drivers get bus driver block, or dental hygienists have a freeze up over an over an open mouth. I find a spark and write, knowing it will be bad; but that's what revision is all about.
