Wendy D. Gillespie Good question ! I think I'd step Through the Looking Glass (Lewis Carroll) and follow Alice on her madcap adventures. She is always encountering fantastical creatures, grouchy characters and eccentric humans. Not to mention the unexpected consequences of consuming unknown hallucinogenic substances.

Wendy D. Gillespie That's a tough one ! Usually, I try to write something - a poem, a short story, something - even if I'm blocked on my book in progress. If that doesn't work, I go outside or to the gym. A change of scenery helps !

Wendy D. Gillespie Write ! Anything. Don't worry about spelling, grammar, language, etc. You can tweak all of that later. Just CREATE. Brainstorm ! Keep a notepad with you or make notes on your smartphone, just try to jot down ideas as they come to you, or you'll forget them.
