Mardi Maxwell Hi, Maria, there is another Zarronian Warrior book...Rolf's Bondmate. I'm working on it and hope to have it finished before the end of the year. I have the cover already and will try to post it (possibly in the bio section?)
Mardi Maxwell Giving my imagination free rein. I'm always amazed at where it takes me and my characters. It's the only job I know that one can spend 14 hours a day doing and never feel tired and always be eager to get back to it (when it's going well...when it's not going well is an entirely different story). And, the second part of that is hearing from readers when I've managed to give them a surprise twist and turn. I love that.
Mardi Maxwell You spelled writer's block wrong...it's actually spelled "too much family." lol I've been distracted by some health issues in my family but hopefully those are now better and I can get back to writing along with my other hobbies of gardening and cooking. I've added another as I snooped around in my mother's garage, found my great-grandmother's old cast iron cookware and I've been cleaning and seasoning it, and trying it out. Just an FYI...women had it really tough back then. Those things weigh a ton and are a lot harder to use than a microwave. ;-) But on a more serious note...writer's block is tough but I usually take a break from the book I'm stuck on and do something else for a while which can be work on a different book, cook, or try a new DIY project, or even just spend a day with my friends. I'm always surprised by how much inspiration I get from just relaxing and giving myself a break.
Mardi Maxwell First, I'm sorry it's taken me so long to see your question but its certainly arrived in a timely manner. The ebooks were on B&N until yesterday. I've removed them as I'm trying to find all the errors in them and clean them up then re-publish them. I believe you can still purchase the paperback at this time but please be aware there may be some errors (spelling, sentence structure, etc.) in the book. No matter how many times I have the books read by beta readers and then edited it seems a few of those pesky things still slip by.
Mardi Maxwell What a question! lol I've read all my life and there are so many, and each couple for a different reason. The one that comes to mind at this moment is Ian Taggart and Charlotte from Lexi Blake's Love and Let Die. I love his sense of humor and irreverence as well as her ability to love so deeply (and handle a guy like that).
Mardi Maxwell I had a great-aunt who was an adventurous and traveled the world back when women just didn't do that sort of thing. I wish she had kept journals and that I had them in my possession as I'd love to be able to write her life story. Unfortunately I only knew her when she was older and I was young and stupid and not interested in sitting down with her and having her tell me her life story. I'm sure it was scandalous (wink, wink).
Mardi Maxwell Cherise Sinclair's new series, Sons of the Survivalist. The first book is Not a Hero. I've read it once and plan to re-read it along with a lot of her other books. Right now I have Spring fever so I'm planting and reading a lot of gardening books, blogs and articles as well as watching my favorite YouTube vlogs for gardening, DIY, and off the grid living (love those solar panels lol). Hope you have a great reading summer.
Mardi Maxwell I'm torn between several books. The fifth book in the Zarronian Warriors scifi series, Rolf's Bondmate, and rewriting Stone (a time-travel, scifi book), and rewriting a book I wrote in a Kindle World series (Amazon ended Kindle World so now I have to do something with that book - it's always something, right? lol Anyway thanks for asking and I hope to have something out soon.
Mardi Maxwell Hi, Nancy. There is a book for Thor and Marisol. Her Viking Dom. It has a surprise ending and I'm not sure what I'm going to do about that (writers! right? lol). We'll have to see what the future and my muse brings my way.
Mardi Maxwell Hi, Catherine, I have written Thor and Marisol's book. It's Her Viking Dom. If you read it I hope you enjoy it. I haven't decided if there will be a series for the McCabes at this time. Mardi
