I loved the Sanctuary series. I just read TARGET, and I went to buy the rest of the series, but I only see #1 = BAIT, and #3 = Prey. I can't find any #2 book on Amazon Kindle. Where can I find #2 of the Denver FBI series? Thanks

Do the Witsec books have to be read in order?
Lisa Phillips They are each an individual story, but it would make more sense to read them in order.

Is "A Sanctuary Christmas Tale: A WITSEC Town" stand alone read? I noticed there is a series. Was if iit mattered to read this one first.
Lisa Phillips The Sanctuary Christmas tale is related to the sanctuary series, and contains some of the main characters as secondary characters but doesn't fall in a specific order within the series itself. It can very much be read as a stand alone, though you would have a little more context after the first two books - Sanctuary Lost and Sanctuary Buried. Enjoy!

Thank you for the free download of Santuary. I downloaded #2 in the series and loved both books. Had a hard time putting them down. Read both books this week and plan to buy the other 3. Will leave reviews. I definitely want to read more of your books. My favorite genre' is Christian Romantic Fiction. How many in the series?

How do you get inspired to write?
Lisa Phillips I find the thing or couple of things about this particular book that genuinely excite me and I use those elements to draw me back to the story.

How do you deal with writer’s block?
Lisa Phillips Push through, but if the story is genuinely stalling out then for me that usually means I need to backtrack and figure out why. Usually there's an element of the story that I haven't grasped fully enough yet to be writing it.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Lisa Phillips write write write, read read read.
And don't give up...ever. Even after you're "published" there are still disappointments and setbacks. Don't let anything stop you from chasing your dream, or walking the path God has for you.

What are you currently working on?
Lisa Phillips Book 2 in the Sanctuary series, Buried in Sanctuary. Right now I'm researching old mobsters, FBI double agents and WITSEC. We'll see which gems wind up in the final book :-)
Due out October 31st.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Lisa Phillips Sanctuary Lost came like most books as a daydream, "What if?" About people too "famous" to go into witness protection. What if your face was too well known, where would you hide?
That's how this secret WITSEC town was born.
