I take a walk. Or raid the kitchen. Or talk to the bf. Or anythig that lets me mentally breathe. Because that's what writer's block is. Too much clog in the pipes to let the creativity flow. I find that if you force it (and sometimes we don't know or think that we are) you'll keep stalling yourself. Seriously, just take a break. Sometimes all you need is an hour. Sometimes, a week. But after you've thought about or done something else, get back to it with a fresh pair of eyes. All your worries will be gone, mate. That's how it is for me at least.
