you know when you see docs on the tv about people nursing lion / tiger cubs etc, and then I thought it was funny that the same people walking through the wild would stumble coincidently on that same animal, and then going to greet there once friend with open arms, and how different their experience would be this time now the animal is fully grown, the idea stemmed from there

for me its always the character, and that character should become real, and when that happens you easily start to learn more of location , situation, story etc, and then its fun for your self learning the character as you go, although I would say the biggest frustration is when you are finding it hard to put into written words what you want to reiterate, normally for me I might think of something funny that the character would do and then It becomes enjoyable again and I can pick up the story.

I have the second Jakey pretty much finished, although I have not referred to it for maybe a year, and I have notes and character references for a longer children's story that is aimed at an older audience.
Once you have the initial idea, I might not write anything for months but that does not mean I am not thinking of things I might add, also even at the early stages of jakey 1, I had ideas that I consider more suited to the the 3rd or maybe the 5th book,

if you have a strong idea for something just believe in your own work, and even if it is never a success at least you can be happy with your work and for no reason would you alter it, giving you the confidence knowing that you have regardless achieved what you set out to do.

I would not call myself a writer as such as at present I don't write so often,
but I enjoy the creative side, no matter how simple the context or complex the story, everything is still carefully considered, and when you look back at the book or text you have finished its nice to see it resembles your initial thoughts and intensions and that it will be shared and appreciated.

well there is no plan to limit how many
the second is more or less finished I will determine the success of the first book before the second is released, the cost should be the same,
yes its nice to have a series something that gives familiarity and enjoyment with the involvement of a recognised character. bye!
