David Powers Finishing Stephen King's Dark Tower series.
David Powers When my father died, my wife and I were going though paperwork before the funeral. I discovered that I had been adopted. I was 42 at the time. Although, as an only child, I always had a feeling I was adopted, my parents never told me. I did not bring it up with my mother (why stir up trouble in the twilight of her life?), and later, found out the rest of my family knew all about it and never said a word in front of me. David Powers Writing can be scary. What if I never finish my book, or what if no one reads it? Many story ideas, or answers to plot problems come to me while I am falling asleep or have just woken up. You just have to keep going. It all works itself out!
David Powers I have written four books in four years (a lot of work!). Now I have to take time out from writing to promote my work. I do have two ideas for my next novel, which I will start in the next few months.
David Powers Sit down and write something every day. Eventually the story will be told. Be prepared to spend A LOT of time editing.
David Powers When someone reads your book!
David Powers You can't force creativity, but you have to try to continue the story every day. Eventually the story writes itself and you are amazed at how it all turned out.
David Powers The phrase, "Tandoori Box," came to me in a dream. It got stuck in my head. I looked up "Tandoori" in the dictionary. You'll have to read my latest book, The Tandoori Box, to learn what it all means. . . .
