It was the passing of my 88-year-old father and the reaction to it I saw in my mother that started me on this literary journey to find for myself the reality of God. When my mother mourned my dad's loss and worried over whether she'd actually see him again beyond the veil, I discovered I too had concerns about the reality of God even though we were both life-long members of the LDS Church. So it was on the heels of this deeply profound experience that I decided once and for all to get the answers I had always puzzled over. And get them I did. Both my mother and I have now found answers because of this book that solidified our testimonies of the restored gospel and an afterlife with a loving Heavenly Father.
