I get my ideas, for all of my books, based off my own personal experiences. I take pieces of my life past and present and turn them into fiction. I like to put realism and relatable material into my stories. I definitely have to embellish so I can make the material work into a fictional story as well as changing names and sometimes places.

When I come to a road block in my writing, I move on to another project. Usually I'll be inspired or something will spark my interest and I'll return to that project I left behind. Often times I go back to my outline and work on it some more or change it up and that helps to get my mojo back too.

Write what you know. Add a bit of realism to your story and make it relatable to your viewing audience. Research, research, research. I can't stress that one enough,and compare prices and what people say, about editors, formatter's, and book cover designers. Give yourself plenty of options to choose from before deciding. If you don't like your working relationship with whom you have chosen on anything, don't feel obligated to stick with that person. People will gouge you in this business so be sharp. When sending ARC's, make sure they add your email to their ebook accounts. That way you hard work on your ebook file is sent directly to their ereader and can't be sent out to others if you send it directly to their regular email.
