Always keep notebooks for jotting down ideas. In times of writer's block, go through these quotes, notes and doodles to see if there's anything to kick-start your writing again. I may have four or five pieces of work that I can go back and forth to when things are stale with one idea. The block does go eventually...

I have recently moved home and it's the most stressful thing you can imagine. The great thing about a new home is that you are in a new area -seeing new things with your eyes wide open and being inspired. My latest WIP was inspired by an urban fox that I literally nearly stumbled over. Watch this space...
