Julie March Scarlet and Wolf from the Lunar Chronicles series, hands down. I love their dynamic and absolute unwavering connection to each other (on that note, kudos to Marissa Meyer for not engaging in unnecessary love triangulating).
Julie March *glances around* Who wants to know? Are you with the Bureau? I can't trust just anyone with that kind of information...but yes. Yes, I am.
Julie March What a unique question!

I guess you kinda know when you start writing historical fiction, that you're going to have to research things, and I got into writing historical fiction because I am a huge history buff. But I will say, I didn't anticipate the sheer volume of research I would have to do, just for something as simple as one line of dialogue.

That being said, I do enjoy it. I've stayed up till long after midnight on my computer, looking at obscure history websites, trying to decipher the old English. Wikipedia and I are great friends, and I'm on first-name basis with the History Channel.

Usually during my research sessions, my eyes are dry and my brain hurts--and I love every minute of it, because my characters are like family, and I want to make sure I take the best care of them.
