I don't get writers block. I tend to say my muse has gone on holiday or away to have a think where to send the story next. I find this a positive outlook which means i can move forward with other writing. Most writers have more than one thing on the go at a time.

Book 2 of 'Girlie's Adventures,' It is in re-working mode as of today. The story is about finding one of her friend's family. 'The Quest to find Pedi's Family,' In the background of the story it is about how naughty it is to kick and bite, helping to teach children right from wrong. Ths book will be out later this year.

My latest book was written for a friends grandson when he was nearly 3 years old. He is now five. 'Girlie and the War of the Wasps,' was named for the little blue lady bug in the story. The children's book came about with chatting to my friend about her grandson and a story he may like to one day read. We set the story in a cottage garden with my friends kitten Sammie. The story developed from there and has since become a series, two of which will be published this year, book 3 in an anthology.

My fingers get itchy and want to write. If they aren't interested in any current drafts, then i open a document and let them go...see what happens. It is like having a muse on my shoulder whispering in my ear.
