I started writing a medieval coming-of-age military adventure novel just over a year ago. For reasons I don't quite understand myself, I stopped working on it once I reached the midway point. So, now I have about 40,000 words of a novel that I have to finish!
Even in its incomplete state, this is the longest piece of fiction I have ever written and I'm keen to get it finished. I've set a deadline of June to complete the first draft. Hopefully that means I can be entirely finished by the end of 2024.
