My most recent book, Loving Nina, is the follow up to Loving Blake. I could have very well left Loving Blake the way it was but there was some closure needed to the Nina character and this is exactly what Loving Nina brings.

Mostly crazy dreams. I have what I like to call a hyperactive imagination. It breeds some insane thoughts and story lines that allow me to expand upon and create full out novels.

My 3rd book Gabriel's Garden is still in the writing process but it's the back story for a character readers will meet in Loving Nina. Gabriel is a ruthless criminal who was raised to be that way because of a deal his parents made to save their own lives before he was born.

Keep writing. Whatever project/manuscript you're working on, don't stop working on it. Life has a fantastic way of getting in the way. Always come back and finish what you started especially if you feel like it's a story that needs to be told.

The best thing is about being a writer is the uninhibited use of my imagination. There aren't any rules that need to be followed when telling a story. I am free to create a world I can escape in. That unbridled creativity and the feeling many of my readers get, that feeling like they're right there with my characters going through every thing with them is why I love what I do.

I shut off the TV and all other distractions and try to immerse myself within the story. I try to get back into my characters and figure out their next move which brings me back to writing
