Around 2007 and 2008 I read several books about reincarnation by Dr. Brian Weiss and Dr. Michael Newton. I was very fascinated with the subject and I also realized reincarnation would be an interesting theme for a novel. I love history, so using past lives was a great way to write a modern story while highlighting various points in history. That was when the idea for SUMMER OF STARS and THE PAST LIVES OF LOLA RAY series was born.

I have found that instead of waiting to get inspired, I have to commit to writing everyday whether I feel inspired or not. When I have a project that needs my attention, a disciplined practice is the best way to get it done.

I'm currently in the editing process of book two in THE PAST LIVES OF LOLA RAY series. It's called AN UNREQUITED FALL and I hope to have it out in September of 2014.

Incorporate daily meditation (at least 20 minutes) into my schedule. Meditation seems to be the key for me to get the creativity flowing again.
