Write what you're passionate about, not about what you think may or may not be a good seller. There's time for that level of technicality later, with the editors. Keep writing. You may get 20,000 or 60,000 words into a novel and realize you just don't feel it anymore. That's fine. Put it down. You may come back to it one day. Then again, you may not. Start something fresh and new and be happy you have the creativity to make all of these fabulous worlds and people come alive!
