Hello! Thank you so much! I actually saw a painting that was inspired by the Gemini astrology sign. It was two girls holding hands: one in all white and the other dressed in all black. I thought “good twin, bad twin” or is it “good side, bad side”. Then my imagination took off and the romance and the rest of the plot started to form.

I try to forget what I'm writing. I walk away, read and listen to a lot of new music, then read what I already wrote. Usually, I'm stuck on one little part that I can't get past and re-reading with a fresh mind helps.

From a song. There was a line about asking the bartender for a drink and to keep them coming until they don't remember. I wanted to start the book with the main characters meeting in a bar, one nursing a heartbreak. The idea evolved from there.
