Agatha found Kristin sunning herself in the bay window of their bedroom and huffed, exasperated by the other's intransigence. Bending over to shake her and call her, awareness stole over her of the impostor's too-black eyes, too-cold skin and demon-sharp features just as the claws sank into her thigh.
So, in answer to the question.... Nah, not really. :-)

I woke, washed my face, made coffee, ate breakfast, felt the promise of the day but thought I'd catch up on the week of news before getting started; what could be the harm? Some war here, a cat up tree there, just about turned it off and with finger poised I heard, 'Prime Minister Boris Johnson refused to be drawn on...'

I might go to Brigette Jones land and shake her until she saw sense. :-)

Sadly a bunch of theory books including but not limited to:
Carroll, M and Gilbert, M: On Being a Supervisee: Creating Learning Partnerships. 2nd edition.
Frawley-O’Dea, M.G. & Sarnat, J.E. The Supervisory Relationship: A Contemporary Psychodynamic Approach.
Gilbert, M and Evans: Psychotherapy Supervision: an Integrative relational approach.
Hewson, D. and Carroll, M.: Reflective Practice in Supervision.
Lahad, M.: Creative Supervision.
Proctor, B.: Group Supervision (2nd edition)
Schuck, C. and Wood, J.: Inspiring Creative Supervision.
Shohet, R.: Passionate Supervision
Hawkins, P. and Shohet, R.: Supervision in the Helping Professions
Van Ooijen: Clinical Supervision Made Easy - a creative and relational approach for the helping professions.
But really looking forward (in hope) to the next in NK Jennisin's Broken Earth series and (obviously) the next in A Song of Ice and Fire. Also looking forward to the next in Patrick Rothfuss' Kingkiller Chronicle.

Of the myriad mysteries in my life, one plot could be derived from the unfathomable moron hive mind active in the masses at the supermarket when they queue miles down the aisles while entire rows of handheld self checkout counters which make the process one short transaction long and obviate the need for items to be scanned at the counter, remain empty and unused. Is it a hormonal flocking signal that gets sent and which some deficient gene in me causes me to miss? Is it that the handheld scanners slowly poison their users and only I didn't get the memo? Is everyone just afraid of technology? Stay tuned...

At the moment probably Frank and Claire Underwood from the House of Cards American version. I think their marriage is meant to seem to the audience perverted or maybe twisted. But I think it's probably a truer representation of most successful marriages than is often fictitiously portrayed.

I've always loved the escape of scifi and fantasy. Writing allows me to productively escape. :-)

A novella / long short story called 'The Excellent Grudge' about a grudge who forms in the apple forest around the glade outside the gates of heaven but decides he wants to outlive his bearer. It's a darkly humorous nod to the human struggle for identity really.

Usually by reading and enjoying other people's work.

Actually my ideas just come to me and I feel an urge to start writing. There's a certain feeling I get and when I get it, I know I'll be able to believe in the story or text and see it through to the end.
