The whole Willow Creek Vampires Series came from a dream that seemed to only last a minute or two. Without getting too spoilery, there was a male vampire in a huge room full of other vampires and he's ordered to feed on the woman he loves by his maker, some other stuff happens, and an idea for a series is born.

I do something mundane. It seems like when I'm feeling less than creative or can't figure out a certain aspect of the story, if I go for a drive or do something boring, the next piece of the puzzle smacks me in the face when I least expect it.
