Thanks for the question, Kai! I won’t get too detailed for fear of giving something away to folks who haven’t read it yet, but yes, I do believe Meredith was right. I think her theory resolves more of the quirks of Adam’s experience than any other possibility.
BTW - I've done a few Q&As with book clubs (online and in real life) where we talked in depth about Meredith and how her ideas influenced the story, so I’m definitely willing to share more of those details with readers in that sort of setting. :)
