S.K. Ballinger While I have many, I have to go with Stanley and Julie Swanson of my novel 'Breed of a Werewolf. I say that because of how much of an impact they had on me in writing them. Secondly, how they impacted the readers from some of the reviews I have had. The way that the two couple had met and their strong love for one another is very evident. Julie was a tough choice for me on writing as I actually became extremely attached to her while with Stanley, I was able to put myself in his shoes as the character. After all, if it weren't for Stanley, Julie would have long ago been left for dead.
S.K. Ballinger For my extended editions, I got the idea by listening to some of my fans that wished each book could have been longer.
S.K. Ballinger I get easily inspired by reading reviews (positive) ones. Reading those just uplifts me when hearing great things about how my character(s) or storyline has impacted a reader.
S.K. Ballinger I have six books I am currently working on. I am taking all five of my short novellas of the 'Bloodline Series Vol.1' and making them extended editions, a more in depth of each book. After listening to some of the reviews, it was clear that some of the readers liked them but wanted more, so that is what I am attempting to produce. The other book I am writing is the final novel of the Swanson trilogy titled 'Swanson - The Uprising'.
S.K. Ballinger I believe it to be critical in writing something every day. Either it be a few words or many, it is a way of keeping yourself going.
S.K. Ballinger The absolute best part of being a writer is bringing character(s) alive. The imagination to take a plot, scene or other related things and share all that with readers.
S.K. Ballinger I typically will go through my notes that I had taken down of the wip and try to get a re-connection with any given interest point. If that fails, then I will usually go back and read the positive reviews left from readers and that seems to never fail.
