I am in three Facebook reading groups. I choose books to read from those groups in no particular order. I choose what appeals to me and is available. I am also in several Goodreads groups and choose to read whatever appeals to me.

That question got me thinking really hard. I was present in the nursing home when my father was writhing in pain. He was admitted for a heart attack. The heart specialist was not available. A gynecologist was the only doctor there and she came to my father's room and read his notes. She said that the heart doctor asked her to do so. She then said that she will give him an injection and it will ease his pain. She did so and five minutes after he died. To this day I wonder if that injection killed him.

Steven and Mandy in Revenge of Zeeka are my favorite couple. As the author of the series, I cannot give away the reason they are my favorite. You will just have to read the series. Also look out for Resurrection: Revenge of Zeeka Book 5 coming in late February 2017.

The idea to write Revenge of Zeeka: Horror Trilogy stemmed from the prevalence of the zika virus in South America and the surrounding islands.
Reviewers picked up on this and I was pleased that they made the connection.
It was my first try at writing a horror series and the reviews were very good.
The Trilogy was nominated for the Metamorph's Publishing Summer Indie Awards 2016 and I felt honoured.
The Book also received a Five-Star Seal from Readers Favorite on 14th September 2016.

The best thing about being a writer is that you can work at your own pace. You can choose what you want to write about. There is so much to write about in this world. However, if you are hoping to make a living solely from writing it may take years to do so. You have to learn to market your books too.

My advice to aspiring writers is to listen to your thoughts. Do not hesitate to put them on paper. We all have hidden talents. God gave us many. Use them.
If you cannot write a book, try writing poetry. I have done both.
I was a career banker and after retiring from banking I went into the Insurance business. I excelled at both. I then started writing. You can do it too.

Amazingly, I get ideas while having a bath, and I cannot wait to run downstairs and start writing.
