The Aftermath is one of those stories that actually came to me in a dream, though the final version is far different than that initial vision. As for ecology, it's not always a major factor in my stories, but it's something I'm always conscious of. After all, we only get one earth!

Before catfishing was officially known as such, my friends and I got catfished by a woman, using MySpace as a platform to launch her antics.
I have a pretty good idea of who it was, but I was never been able to prove it. The "real time" information she had on a certain celebrity that she said was her boyfriend was amazing and added to the realism.
It all fell apart when one of us searched by the (at the time) semi-famous celebrity she claimed to be dating and found a woman with the same face in all the pictures, but not the same name. That was the end of that and she vanished.

I was obsessed with Anne McCaffrey's Dragon books as a teen/young adult, so I would say Pern. And I'd want to be a dragonrider, of course!

Great question! When it comes to couples for me the gold standard is Darcy and Elizabeth. I could read Pride and Prejudice a dozen times (and have) and never get tired of them.
For contemporary couples I adore the multi-layered romance in Ruth Wind's In The Midnight Rain. Blue and Ellie's love story still brings joyful tears to my eyes.

Three different books at once. I have a contemporary that I am revising, and a sequel to my time travel story "Beginning Time" as well as a sequel to "Fire Danger," the paranormal that just finaled in the OCC Orange Rose contest.
