Hi Mark, I am nearly wetting my pants as I get to visit you on Monday at Beaconhills College Berwick. I have the privilege of introducing you and I can’t wait. Can you please tell about how you came to write “The Road to Winter.”?
Mark Smith Hi Sineth - sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I really enjoyed my visit to Beaconhills - such an enthusiastic lot. I hope you got some insights into the writing of The Road To Winter and Wilder Country from my presentation. But feel free to ask any follow up questions here.

Is there going to be a third book?
Mark Smith Hi Anika: sorry for the delay in getting back to you! Yes, I have just submitted the manuscript of Land Of Fences to my publisher (Text). There's still a fair way to go but it should be on the shelves in early 2019. I hope you have enjoyed the first two books.

Hi Mark, when is the sequel coming out for "The Road to Winter"? I have a number of girls dying for the next book!!!!
Mark Smith Hi Heather - sorry for the delay in answering. The final edits, design, cover etc for Wilder Country have been a little bit time consuming! It will be released on August 28th - at which time I jump back on the rollercoaster of promotions. If the girls enjoyed The Road To Winter, they'll love Wilder Country. Promise!
