I HAVE CANCELLED THE JULY 1, 2022 RELEASE DATE FOR THE REMAINING GUARDIAN ELITE BOOKS, THUS ALL PREORDERS WERE CANCELLED.
This date was set around the time I had open heart surgery. I had NO idea that my recovery would take so long or that the surgery would affect my brain. Because of the drugs and a possible mini stroke, I haven't been able to write as much as I had scheduled for 2022. My intention was to complete all 6 updated and expanded books before July 1. I was lucky to get 3 done.
Amazon would only extend the release date 30 days which was not enough time. I HAD to cancel the release of those 3 books. They were kind enough, given my circumstances, to not punish me with a year without preorders. So, I can put them up for release again and my Shadow in the Daylight will remain up.
Since I am committed to Shadow in the Daylight which HAS to release August 23rd, I had to stop working on the ELITE books and move on to Shadow.
As soon as Shadow is completed, I'd like to return to the ELITE books but I also promised the first Black Swan Team 2 book that is LONG over due. I also wanted to expand Winter Surprise Book #4 of Seasoned SEALs in Susan Stoker's World (released as a short story Christmas 2021) in time for Christmas 2022.
Oh, and did I mention I'm supposed to watch my stress levels?
I'll make you these promises:
1. I WILL publish Shadow August 23
2. I WILL complete the Guardian EILTE series of expanded and republished books but at this time I won't commit to a date.
The rest are all going to happen, I just don't know when.
Thank you for your patience and understanding!

First, I am embarrassed that I did not see this until now! I was answering another Goodreads question and saw yours.
Quite often, my ideas are ripped from the headlines. Case in point is my next book, Securing Willow, which is a crossover with Susan Stoker’s SEAL Legacy world. In the book, that will publish March 12, 2019, I discuss the international relations between the United States and Venezuela which includes not only the ambassador but private corporations headquartered in the USA. Another connection to reality is my college roommate whose father had served in several embassies throughout the world.
In Snow SEAL, the Guardian Elite crossover with Elle James’s Brotherhood Protection Series, I got the idea from several stories that circulated on Facebook about a woman who had over 100 confirmed ISIS kills.
My entire Cancún series tapped into my annual visits to the Yucatán Peninsula in Mexico. I have always been fascinated by Mayans and visited many historical and anthropological sites. I have snorkeled on the Virgin Mary and underwater cross mentioned in Christmas in Cancún. I have also cruised many times and actually interviewed the Deputy Director of Security on a Caribbean cruise ship. I utilize that information in Captivated in Cancún.
Most recently, I have been closely following the activities in Venezuela. The tumultuous political environment there will play heavily in my next book, Securing Willow, which is a crossover with Susan Stoker’s SEAL Legacy world. As for the Black Swan series, I have had in-depth conversations with special operators from several different military services for over forty years, often discussing the possibility and probability of women in those roles. I have learned several things: 1. Men always underestimate beautiful women. 2. The military never does anything without secret testing for years. 3. A woman can get a man alone within hours and kill him within seconds, sometimes more brutally, calculatingly, and unemotionally unattached, than a man. Frightening isn’t it.
Sometimes, though, I collaborate with my wonderful editor, a few select author friends, or even my husband on the rare occasion, for the action line plot.
I hope that answers your question. I love talking with my readers so feel free to ask again.

A Love Never Forgotten released December 3. 2018 as a single book with over 25 additional pages, added scenes and added chapters. In the anthology, I was limited to 55,000 words but as a stand alone book, I was able to add in more scenes, explain more about what was happening and go a little deeper into the personalities.
Here's the link to A Love Never Forgotten in all formats.

Look for a Promise Never Forgotten, the story of Teagan and Lucas, to come out late this summer.
In the meantime, Securing Willow, a Guardian Elite crossover with Susan Stoker's SEAL Legacy, will release March 12.
On April 30, SEAL in a Storm, another Guardian Elite crossover with Suspense Sisters's Silver SEALs, will release as a full-length novel.
Then, A Promise Never Forgotten is scheduled to release in late June/early July.
Thank you for your interest in my books! I love hearing from readers.
By the way, if you write reviews, I have a few openings on my review team if you'd be interested. With 8 books scheduled in 2019, you'd be able to read LOTS of books before they are released. Let me know if you're interested. :)
Thanks again and I appreciate you asking!

Congratulations!! And thank you for entering.
I have the book ready to mail. :) I apologize for not mailing it yesterday but I had hip replacement 2 weeks ago and have to depend on others to drive me around or run my errands. Unfortunately, my son was sick yesterday and didn't make it here to help me. I hope to get it in the mail this afternoon, though.

When I'm stuck, I go take a shower. It doesn't matter if I just had one or not. I believe it's the water cleansing my brain of everything else, the solitude, the refreshed way you exit. It's my magic. I usually have it figured out by then. But, if that doesn't work, I meet another author friend for lunch and we always talk books. I leave with the scene resolved.

Working in your PJs. Where else can you go to work at any hour of the day, anywhere in the world, work as long as you wish and do it in your jammies?

A modern day Caribbean treasure hunt for golden Mayan Goddess statues that were (true fact) stolen by the Conquistadors in the 1500's. The heroine is working on her doctorate in Anthropology and the hero is a former SEAL who owns a catamaran company by day taking cruise ship tourists snorkeling and diving and at night works for US Border Patrol to stop human trafficking.
Expect to see it in November 2014!

While researching explosives for another book, I came across CHAZ which was recently developed as the most lethal, non-nuclear bomb on the planet. Then I saw that the process was very similar to the way pharmaceuticals are enhanced. I put drugs and bombs together with a visit to Colombia that the FBI told me I couldn't take because it would end my Marine husband's career. Adding the romance elements of a female explosives expert on the ATF's International team (I love smart, bold, non-traditional heroines) and an undercover CIA agent....EXPLOSIVE COMBINATION was born.
