To be honest, the book I'm about to start is the haziest. However, Gabriella was a featured character in Hunter's book (#5) so she's less hazy now. I know where and how the story starts. I know the challenges she faces. However for the first time there are two possible heroes. One we meet in Lily (#1) and who shows up in the other books. One we only know about from the last book.

I had a period of time when I had lucid night dreams and day dreams about the seven women who comprise The Sacred Women's Circle. They are my inspiration and telling their stories, how they've overcome hardships that face many women and find the courage to trust enough to love again (or maybe for the first time), lures me to my computer every day that I'm working on a story.

I've just published "Hunter" (book five) the end of July and will be starting "Gabriella" (book six) before the middle of September. I love being an 'organic writer' so while I have a beginning and sometimes an ending as well as a few key scenes along the way in mind when I start out, the story does unfold before me! That means I get surprised by some event or character in each book - very fun!

Take the time to find "Your" process. Do listen to what other successful authors do but don't try to copy it. It takes times to do this but once you know you are a 'write the first draft' or 'edit as you go' or 'sprints' or weekend, early morning, late at night are your times, your writing life will be easier and much more productive which translates to 'rewarding'!

I get to do something I love! Telling stories is a great way to spend time. And since I'm semi-retired, I don't have the challenge of balancing a day job and children!

So far with 5 full length novels and several short stories published, I've not had this problem! It helps that the series I'm writing has continuing characters and I've known from "Lily" (book one) the core story and certain events each of the seven main characters will face.
Who knows what will happen when "Sophia" (book seven) is published Summer of 2016.
