I wanted to share my experiences as a mother with problems I faced when my first child was faced with a life threatening illness...and then in later years when my second child , whom I adopted from Guatemala, began to experience emotional problems generated by her early childhood abuse. I thought it important for other parents to understand what impossible choices one deals with as a parent...and then how they then live with any mistakes they made along the way.
