Yes I am writing a new book about a time travel adventure. I will keep everyone posted on my progress. The research for "SIGNS of a Serial Killer," included interviews with survivors, family and friends. Along with my own knowledge. Plus many newspaper articles, court transcripts and microfiche. My greatest hope is to protect the young girls and woman from these kind of predators.

I decided to write my book in January, 2013. Originally it was a love story about my husband and myself. But in May of 2013 I did some research about my best friend. She had been killed by a serial killer. I wasn't going to make it the theme of my book, but I wanted to get the correct facts. That was the moment everything changed. I knew I had to share the truth with the public. I remembered our youth; how carefree and unaware we we're and something told me, I must warn the next generation about the dangers in the world. I also wanted to inform the parents of the pitfalls young girls encounter at such an age.

Sometimes I just put it down for a week or two. Then I say to myself, what would make this something I would be interested in. If you get your mind off it for a awhile, you come back refreshed.

Sharing your creativity is such a reward. When you know you have helped someone understand something. The joy you feel when you made another person forget about their problems for a few days. And have taken them on an adventure, one they could not take on their own.

Get rid of anything that holds you back. My first book needed to be written so I could move on in my writing career. If you get a chance to read it, you may understand what I'm talking about. Writing can be therapeutic as well as freeing.

I was in the process of writing a love story about my husband and I. During the research portion I stumbled on some facts about a killer that was responsible for the murder of my best friend. When I saw his picture it became apparent to me that I had sidestepped being his next victim. I was shocked to the bone. I found that I could not sleep. After about a week I finally realized, I must warn other young girls about the monsters that lurk in the shadows. Otherwise I could not rest.
