How do you get inspired to write?
Sabrina A. Fish My siblings and the relationship I have with them inspire my story ideas. Listening to music and reading also inspire me to write.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Sabrina A. Fish My son. He was 7 and wanted me to write a story about a pirate and a mermaid. Gregor isn't a pirate(my pirate gets his story later in the series), and Nadia is definitely not a maid, but I'm more than happy with how the story turned out!

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Sabrina A. Fish We all have busy schedules. Even if you can only write a few times a week, don't give up. Perseverance is the key to making this dream come true!

Sabrina A. Fish Diomere's Mercenary, Book 3 of The Gate Keeper Chronicles, while waiting on edits back from my editor on Book 2, Diomere's Healer.
