Keep writing and writing and writing. When you're not writing, spend some time reading, then go back to your writing. Don't ever stop or give up, make it a vital part of your life.

I find the best thing to do with writer's block is to take a break and do something else. Housework often works, gardening or ironing especially, allowing me to muse away while not having to worry too much about what my hands are doing. I frequently come up with solutions when faced with a large pile of laundry, then have to leave it and rush off to my computer. Funny that.
